"Right, gents," Philip said, very seriously. "I'm going to try to get back
to the bath, which is where I keep the gauze. I'd keep from getting any
closer to the cat, and try to avoid any sudden movements. Wish me luck."
Suiting deed to word, he began moving, stealthily, towards the bathroom
door, his eyes fixed on the cat.
