Only moments after Lord Richard's return, Arabella came in with Pamela's kit 
bag. She was slightly short of breath as she went to her daughter. "Here you 
are, dear. Is it really...?" Her voice broke off discreetly, and there was 
real concern in her eyes. There was also a trace of reddish brown along her 
left hand...
