Cyril was about to re-enter the Fitzroy flat carrying a fistful of old
towels as Marty hustled the warden to the door.  He took several steps
backward to allow them to exit.  "Evening, officer," he greeted the
warden as he passed, ignoring the scowl on Marty's face.
