"Well I suppose I can go," Braham offered as he rose up from his own stool. 
"I don't mind. And beside that, I'd like to be able to hear any commotion 
coming from outside as well."

Slowly he began to fumble his way across the room, excuse himself every few 
feet just to let others know he was coming.
