Philip, still in the process of escorting Pamela through the door, was
obviously struck by Ms. Diamond's appearance; he was, after all, a young
man, and she a beautiful woman. Still, his steps faltered only slightly
before he caught up to Pamela, though his eyes still followed Nola as she
crossed the room.

"There's a thought," Philip said. "May I get you something from the bar,
Pamela?" he asked.
