"Yes, exactly." said Vangie. "However, they will in any case keep up
=our= spirits, don't you think?" There was a wicked twinkle in her eyes
as she added "One must, after all, uphold the best traditions of the
Women's Institute..." 

In what turned out to be not a terrifically bad (or, it must be
confessed, not terrifically good) alto she launched into "Jerusalem." 

"And did those feet in ancient time / Walk upon England's mountains
green? / And was the Holy Lamb of God / On England's pleasant pastures
seen...?"
