"No need for that," Braham said as he jumped to his feet. "I'll do it. And 
I won't take a cent for it either. If there is an emergency, I'll be glad 
to help out." The offer was a mix of chivalry and true concern. Miss 
Higgins was tired after a long day. There really was no point in making her 
more so.
