"My pleasure, sir.  Your father was very gracious when he stayed here.  I
hope that you find the accomodations to your liking?  Everything in working
order?"  Hodges inquired pleasantly.  Such a polite young man!

"Absolutely wonderful." Richard's hand combed through his mess of curls,
slightly less kempt due to the shortages. "I think I've sniffed father out
of cigars and liquor-- As a matter of fact, isn't it customary to give one's
landlord a bit of a gift at the holidays? I have some sherry that looks like
it would suit you perfectly."
