"The only answer to that, is to get you wired.  Are you willing?  How badly
do you want this?"

"I am!" Suhuy's arm shot up in the air, his eyes lighting up like a star
student who knew the correct answer to a tough question. "Oh!" He graabbed
Dot's wrist and forced her to hold up her hand as well. "And she does too!"
      
   It was easy, looking at Asha and Suhuy, to determine what was expected of
her.  She didn't really want to, and squirmed under the scrutiny before
nodding ascent.

Looking at the woman, Asha felt for Dot.  "It's not very invasive, and a
simple procedure."  She knew that she had experienced something akin to what
Dot was going through now with Rook- and it hadn't felt very good.  

"You don't *have* to do this, you know," she said.  "I know it seems as if
the fate of all reality is on your shoulders.  But you can't let pressure
*make* you do anything.  You always have to remember that you have a
choice."

She stood, towering over the pair.  "So.  Is this your choice?"
